FRAMED KEEPSAKES

Framed Keepsakes are only available throughout Melbourne.

You can either visit our studio or book a mobile visit.

The mobile service is an additional $30 and includes us visiting you in your home (area restrictions apply) and this also includes the delivery back to you when complete.

Gift Vouchers are redeemable by appointment only at our studio or with the mobile service. 

The value on gift vouchers is valid until applicable age limit expires (ie under 12 months) or from 6 months of purchase.

Gift vouchers are not refundable, redeemable for cash or transferable .

PHOTOS FOR FRAMED KEEPSAKES

You can either supply your own photo (5 x7) or visit our associated photographer.

- Inspired by Kids ( www.inspiredbykids.com.au) 

that will offer you a sitting session* with a complimentary photo for your keepsake. 

Should you choose so, any further photographic arrangements are between the photographer and client. 

Pit a Patter is not responsible or accountable for any further agreements between the two parties.

* Please note photo session requires a booking at photographers studio.

Framed keepsakes are generally ready within 3 - 8 weeks but this can vary depending on frame, design choice and waiting photos. 

Orders that are delayed with photos will be delivered at the next scheduled delivery time.

CARING FOR YOUR FRAMED KEEPSAKE

Something so precious and timeless requires general care. 

We recommend that you avoid displaying your Framed Keepsake over direct heat (ie fireplace and heating vents) bedheads and in direct light.

We also recommend that you use a correct weight hanging system that is placed in wall studs to secure it.

Melboune  Metro residents can redeem gift vouchers by contacting Pit a Patter , booking an appointment at our studio or with the mobile service (area restrictions apply - refer to suburb list). 

The value on gift vouchers is valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

Gift vouchers are not refundable, redeemable for cash or transferable .

ORDERING

The purchaser assumes all responsibility for correct spelling and information that is to be stamped or engraved.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to confirm that your order is correct.

Any error cannot be rectified in the jewellery once the making process has commenced and order confirmed. All items are listed in AUD $.

All products may exhibit a slight variation to those displayed on our website as each item is individually handcrafted. Unlike mass produced machine made products each impression or jewellery will display unique and individual qualities.

Pit a Patter reserves the right to select the prints returned via kit in completing your jewellery purchase. All decisions are final and cannot be used against us.

Fingerprint jewellery is not recommended for babies under 6 months of age. This is because although prints vary with genetics and age, generally the swirls under this age will not be very evident and will only provide the overall fingerprint form. If choosing to order under this age the buyer assumes understanding and acceptance of this information.

Fingerprint Capture kits are not recommended for under 6 months of age. Rather, you can book a studio or mobile service appointment.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

Silver is a precious metal and will require cleaning and general care. It is prone to tarnishing and scratching and therefore needs to be treated with general care.

When not wearing your jewellery piece, we recommend storing it in its box that has been provided on its own. This will prevent it rubbing and scratching from other pieces and will protect it from the pollutants and moisture in the air which can cause tarnishing.

It can be cleaned in warm, soapy water and carefully dried. This will remove light tarnishing and dullness. You can then use a silver cleaning cloth which has anti tarnishing properties to add shine.

We advise against using or exposing your silver piece to household cleaners as they can be abrasive and ruin your piece.

Please note that chlorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided.

Please regularly check all findings and fitting for general wear and tear.

DELIVERY TERMS

Pit a Patter uses Australia Post mail service. 

We offer 2 postal options.

Regular Parcel Post - $12.  This can take between 1- 5 business days. It provides online tracking.  

Express Parcel Post - $18. This offers the same benefits at Regular Post with next business day delivery (providing your address is within the Express Post Network). The Express option is used on delivery of the final and completed product ONLY and not for dispatch and return of any kits used.

Please visit www.auspost.com.au to check for details. The Express method will be used ONLY when dispatching the final completed product.

Please note expected delivery times* after our dispatch via Austraia Post services before your postage selection. 

*Although we do our best to send out orders in a timely manner, we cannot be held responsible for any delays with Australia Post.

Parcels can be tracked via Australia Post. Please contact Pit a Patter for your tracking number. 

Pit a Patter assumes no responsibility for delays or losses incurred via Australia Post. ( Australia Post assumes no further action until 10 working days after dispatch).

We endeavour to dispatch your jewellery item within 7 days (excluding Public Holidays) of placing your handstamped jewellery order or of receiving your impression capture kits.

Framed keepsakes are generally ready within 3 - 6 weeks but this can vary depending on frame and design choice and waiting photos.

Should you require a piece urgently please contact us to discuss your options. We can at times accomodate urgent orders

We reserve the right to change prices without notice and to refuse any orders.


USE OF KITS

Pit a Patter will not be held responsible for any misuse of both the impression capture and inkless kits when in care of purchaser.

It is therefore important to read all supplied information carefully. 

OUR POLICY

Every item is created with attention to detail and the upmost care. Pit a Patter always aims to have products of the hightest quality, however due to the personalized and customized nature of our products, we regret that refunds or returns are not permissable unless there is a defect in the product.

It is important to note that all our items are handcrafted to be "one offs" and customized to client specifications. Each piece may therefore vary slightly. 

All online orders will be dispatched via Australia Post ( either Standard, Registered or Express option- tracking available). Should your order be lost or damaged during transit please contact your local post office ( with your tracking details) to lodge a claim. 

Pit a Patter will not accept any responsibility based on change of mind, incorrect ordering, misuse of kits or personal likening or preference. Should an order be cancelled once it has been started, 50% of the product price and any postage or mobile service paid will be withheld.

Pit a Patter cannot offer any refunds on our Fingerprint and Hand/Footprint range after our kits have been dispatched. Any additional kits will be charged at $10 per kit.

If you feel an item is "faulty", please contact Pit a Patter within 5 days of receiving your order and we will do our best in accordance with our terms to resolve your issue. If neccessary, it is the responsibility of the buyer to return the item back to Pit a Patter to be reviewed.

Return postage is payable by the customer and must be sent via a prepaid and and traceable method to ensure it is safe and documented. Pit a Patter takes no responsibility for missing incoming deliveries without proof of delivery. The original shipping charges are not refundable.
